In the rear of the trunk you will find several plastic wing-nuts that hold the liner and the light housings to the rear panel. Remove these, pull out the housing, the bulb scockets twist out after releasing the locking tab [ push on lock to center of scocket to release ]. When reinstalling housings to panel make sure rubber sealing washers on the studs are there or water will leak into trunk. good luck.

How do i replace the rear turn signal bulb on a 1998 buick lesabre?

There are usually only 2 ways to replace tail lights -- either unscrew the lens from the outside if there are screws showing, or, (more likely with this older model), open trunk, find the access panel and remove it, then reach in and unscrew the light socket by turning 1/2 turn counterclockwise.

The parking lights and tail lights on 96 lasabre went out , I can't get them to work again . All the fuses are good .

relays under the hood to? if those are good and bulbs are good , then I'd think a grounding problem. you can run a new wire to one of the lights and ground it to good clean metal and see if thats the problem? a12 volt test light (buy cheep one for under $5.00) and see if you have power to the bulb socket? richie
