The flywheel is located behind the engine, inside of the bell housing and is not visible. it is bolted onto the crank shaft by several bolts ( 5/8 or 9/16ths if I remember right ).

Right side of dash behind the passenger side air bag. Up high on the dash I don't know how tough it is to get to, looks like you might end up taking some stuff apart to get there. GOOD LUCK

I have a new starter and battery but all my 2000 ford expedition does is sound like a vacuum or sometimes nothing at all what could it be

Sorry to say. But pull the starter back off and look at the flywheel. Are the teeth on the flywheel eaten off? Replace the flywheel. It will take a day to do on the ground. It will cost $600 to $700 at a shop.

Where is the thermostat located in a 2000 ford expedition?

Find the top radiator hose and follow it to where it connects to the engine.
This connection should look like an elbow with two bolts (one on each side)...this is the thermostat housing and your thermostat should be under there.

Hope this helps...

How do you change a flywheel on a 1998 Ford Expedition, 5.4 L Eddie Bauer edition??

You will need to remove the transmission and (transfer case )if equipped to gain access to the flywheel. Once the tranny is out of the way you will be looking at the flywheel. If it is an automatic you will need to remove the torque converter bolts from the flywheel before tranny removal. Also if it is an automatic be sure to get the torque converter to engage the front pump in the tranny when you reinstall.

How to get to the stock subwoofer, in 200 eddie bauer expedition

It should be mounted on the passenger back. you will have to remove the rear quarter interior panel, The trim where the hatch locks and around the trim where the hatch meets the rear. once the trim is removed you can access the sub, it is bolted to the car and plugs into the factory amp, which is located right in front of the sub. After taking the bolts out, the sub will come out.
