I have excess tire wear mostly on left steer wearing the inside of the tire. this has happened to three sets of tires I also had an allignment done

Things that will tear the tires up in short order. Inner and outer tie rods, ball joints, struts/ upper ball joints( you have upper ball joints) Lower control arm bushings, bent frame, and a bad wheel bearing. Every one of these should have been caught by the alignment shop. If you replace the parts your self. Change them all. You already saved tons by doing it your self. Let me know. I will let you know how to align any vehicle by eye and test driving.

I have a 1994 Ford Bronco Xlt with a 302 V8 Automatic.. When the truck was on a lift the front passenger side wheel had alot of negative camber I believe.. The wheel was slanted like this \ . The stearing...

To check the joints jack the wheel off the ground by the lower control arm and putting one hand on the top of the wheel and the other on the bottom try moving the wheel in and out. If you can then one or both ball joints are bad. Have someone move the wheel and watch the joints you will see if one or both are bad. While the wheel is off the ground move the wheel from side to side, that will tell you if you have bad steering linkage. You don't have to hold the steering wheel straight when changing the joints. But you will need an alignment when your done. Note; When installing the new parts try to get them as close to up and down as you can. Also if you change the tie-rods count the turns and install the new tie-rods to the same turns.

How to change a Xantia bottom ball joint

Depressurize the hydraulic system. Jack the front and put on jack stands (both left and right side). Remove wheels. Slacken and unscrew the ball joint nut partially. Release ball joint from knuckle using a proper separation tool. Once dislodged, remove ball joint nut and pull out strut/knuckle away from lower arm. You may need to push down the arm with a lever. Remove dust cover from the ball joint. The ball joint can be removed by unscrewing it using a tool that locks into the notches on the sides of the ball joint. Install new one by screwing in the ball joint back into the knuckle.Tighten well.

Front end bushing and ball joint do you need to change upper and lower bushings at same time and how hard is to them

It's not required to change the upper and the lower at the same time. However it will save you time if you do them both as if one is going out the other will soon.
The actual job is not that difficult but you may need a pickle fork or a ball joint removal tool to disconnect the ball joints from the steering knuckle. You will also need a ball joint press to remove/install the ball joints. You may also need a strut spring compressor. You can rent these at an auto parts store.
Basically you have to do the following -loosen lug nuts -jack the vehicle up and place on jack stands -remove wheel -remove upper ball joint cotter pin and nut -remove lower ball joint cotter pin and nut -with pickle fork/ball joint removal tool remove both upper and lower ball joints from steering knuckle -disconnect tie rod end from knuckle (optional depending on clearance) -disconnect strut (be sure to install strut spring compressors) -with ball joint press you will need to press both ball joints out (you also use the press to install ball joints)
Installation is reverse of removal.
For exact instructions you can buy the manual for about $20 or go to autozone.com, register, and view the manual on their site for free.

Knocking sound when i turn, mostly turning to the right, changed driveshaft and no joy, any ideas?

Sound like you might need balls joints, control arms..etc.. or the CV joint is bad. Take into a Service center Not a dealership. They only rip you off.. And ask for the front end to be checked for bad ball joints etc..And ask about the CV joints.. The boots around the CV joints that keeps the water and dirt out and also hold the grease can be cracked and will let the grease out and will let the dirt and water in and cause the joint to pop and go bad...Hope this helps

Steering is stiff driving on the road... feels as if it sticking

1.It isn't a lower or upper ball-joint, lower ball-joint, nor tie-rod end. A lower ball-joint being bad, would make the front-end shake. Upper ball-joint, and tie rod ends being bad, would make steering erratic.

Sounds more like the problem is in the steering box. In all actuality, it almost sounds like the power steering pump wasn't changed. Are you sure it's a new, known, good pump?
