How do i change the fan belt on an m reg 1.6 si ford fiesta. please give a diagram if possible.

Havnt got a picture but just loosen the three bolts on the alternator,swing it inwards towards the engine block and remove/fit new belt,swing the alternator back out and tension the belt before doing up the bolts,use a long screwdiver as a "crowbar"to tighten.The belt should have 1/2/"play on the longest stretch between pulleys.....check the tension after 250 miles.(yes,it is that simple).

what is the spec? best to ring ford and they will tell you. just give them the registration/ chassis id. you can find the chassis id on the bottom of the front windowscreen on the passenger side, or a little flap on the right side of the drivers door.
