Is there a fuel cutoff relay on the 1997 Audi A8 Quatro 4.2? I am having a problem with getting fuel to the motor. I replaced the fuel pump relay, also the fuel pump was replaced a few miles ago. The car...

Don't use starter fluid the car becomes addicted to it very quickly. Have you checked that there is power supply to the pump / fuse / relay. If there is then check that the fuel is flowing through the pipes / fuel filter and into the fuel rail

Audi 80 fuel and temp gauge problems temp dont work fuel gauge works sometimes

if temp, does not work, it may be the tempurature sending unit. for fuel guage it is usually a bad wire to tank or the sending unit in tank. check wire and ground to tank first. good luck!!

How remove fuel pump audi a8 4.2

check in the trunk ,remove the carpeting and you should find a round access cover remove all the screws and the fuel tank will be visible. now ther will be a large plastic nut you have to unscrew it to get to fuel pump. fuel pump is in the tank. i would first make sure the fuel pump relay is good.

2000 Audi A8 fuel problem... car run for about 45 minutes, then start sputtering, then shuts off. Fuel tank has been replaced....still experiencing same problem

Did you replace the fuel pump/siphon filter as well? And there is also a fuel filter inline. You could have multiple things wrong but try replacing the fuel filter first. If its turning off after is getting hot I'm thinking a CPS (crank position sensor) is usually a common diagnossis for those issues.
