My 2007 Dodge ram 1500 with hemi has 2 codes po524 and po406 are they related

In both cases, there is a software update available for this condition. It involves having the dealer connector their StarScan tool to your truck and reprogramming the PCM.

DTC P0406 - EGR Sensor "A" circuit "High"
There is updated software available for your PCM that will correct this code if your vehicle was built prior to mid February 07. If it was built after that, then the EGR valve will need replacing (this is not unusual). Keep in mind that could be time for a new valve, but you dont will need to change the tube, but new gaskets are a good idea.

DTC P0524 - Oil Pressure Too Low Oil pressure sending unit (sensor) voltage input above the maximum acceptaple voltage.
If the software is up to date, then have the oil pressure sensing unit must be replaced.

Additionally, check this TSB SUPERSEDES TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 18-044-07, DATED OCTOBER 12, 2007, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES. ALL
REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND INCLUDE THE ADDITION OF YEARS, MODELS AND CLEAN DATES.
THE StarSCAN FLASH FILES FOR THIS BULLETIN MUST BE RETRIEVED FROM THE INTERNET.
StarSCAN SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT RELEASE 8.04 OR HIGHER FOR THIS BULLETIN.
StarMOBILE STANDALONE MODE OR StarMOBILE DESKTOP CLIENT MAY ALSO BE USED TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.

Dodge ram won't start and ECM light and check

First you need to retrieve the trouble codes stored in the computer. If you don't have a code reader or scan tool you can take it to your local autoparts store (advance auto, autozone, ect) and they can retrieve them for you. Then we can go from there.

Dodge 2500 diesel when cold sometimes when I push on the gas it doesn't go it just idols. The check engine light is on and fault code is 2127. Any ideas

How long since you changed your fuel filter? If the fuel filter is clogged, causing low fuel pressure, the engine management computer will only allow the engine to idle.

VERY LOW IDLE STALLS AT LIGHTS

the problem relates to the o2 sensor, air flow meter, & also it needs to get upper engine cleaned through. Also get the intake checked for leaks & the idle control valve checked. the best option is to get the car diagnosed at the car diagnostic center to get the fault codes.this will point towards the exact faulty part to which you should get replaced or cleaned. at www.autozone.com its free to get car diagnosed/checked for codes.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
