Check the seal on your gas cap if the seal is bad it will cause that issue
make sure the cap gets tight
just because the cap clicks doesnt meen its tight you might just replace the cap
they cost about 20 dallors

put the key and put it into the position just before the starter turns (do not start the car) push the gas peddle all the way wait 3 seconds and turn the key all the way back but do not take it out, now release the gas peddle and wait 2 minutes! remove key than put it back in and start the car! you should notice a better response while pressing the gas do this once every few weeks!

2004 audi a4 1.8t wont start i just learned that my fuel pump went out and how do i put in a new one?

This car has a submerged fuel pump (inside of the gas tank). To access it you need to remove the rear seat. Then unscrew the cover and carefully pry it out. The gasket may stick too hard and like glue the parts together. You would need a new one anyway.

Had a flat battery on a4 when i put new batt on the alarm wont go off or central lockin is not working

disconnect the ground cable only on the batter for two minutes, be sure the key is not in the ignition, reconnect cable, turn key to on, then turn off. remove the key, reinsert it and crank the car .
