the carb. on this is a 2 bbl carb with a manual fuel pump, i,m trying to find the assembly line data link so i can pull codes does anyone know where this is, the only thing i found under the dash near the fuse box is totally different than what the manual shows and is labled differently also, could this be a ignition module or maybe pick up coil, this has me really stumped.

1/ Have you fitted the spark plug leads in the proper firing order.
2/ Look inside the top of distributor Top (this is not the first time a new distributer cap has very small crack) or the rotor arm is fitting the cap properly. Hope this helps Best Wishes, Malcolm Campbell.

Jeep not starting

You can do either one of two things. Leave the distributor where it is and clamp it down. Or set it up to TDC, mark the dist cap #1 on the housing, lift the distributor and turn the rotor so when it sets back in, the trailing edge (right side) of the rotor is on the left side of your mark. That is how it is base timed. I hope this helps.
