I have a 94 jeep cherokee that wont turn over or wont start?

No cranks is here
https://www.jeepdied.com/no-crank.html
TURNS OVER MEANS ZERO.
the starter just CRANK.
THE START MOTOR TURNS
IF lucky so does the crank shaft turn.
then the engine starts and runs, (this is not turns)
it's running
the EFI then sustains running , if ABS stays happy.
the engine can also stall.

Jeep cranks but does not start

Hi, First replace your plugs. Second check ignition coil(s) one maybe bad. replace with new. If all else is good, have your mechanic check the computer codes. (code scanner) Many of todays cars and trucks have computers to run and control the engine. (management system). Good luck

Jeep was having trouble starting but eventually started and ran. Then just cranked but didnt turn over and run. I replaced starter, that didnt work. Then replaced crank position sensor, and that seemed to...

Just wondering if the senor could be a bad one. Open your gas cap and turn your ignition on and have someone back there to listen into the filler tube. They should hear the fuel pump kick on, if not you problem is it. I had a jeep and did all the work on it, including a new fuel pump, crank sensor, water pump, radiator and everything else. GOOD LUCKKKKKK

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee No Start

I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.

Jeep Cherokee won't start, turns off, etc.

Did you have the same cranking with no start problem with original engine or did the problem begin when you changed it? I would check codes if you have not already, and would also clean business end of idle air valve (next to tps) DO NOT turn the end plunger while cleaning or it may not seat properly. Do not loose the rubber "o" ring while working either!

Starting issues

ASE mechanic.
A couple of different scenerios. first could be the ignition switch not suppling voltage to the starter. You might have good battery voltage at the starter, but not the trigger voltage from the ignition. thats the small wire on the starter. OR if i cranks a couple of times and then starts it might be a crank sensor for those engines are known for that sensor problem. keep me posted
