Good old Ford Lincoln and mercury s don't know of single one you don't have to remove the complete dash to replace heater core

Far as trying to find re assembly diagrams that going to be hard to find if they even exist try calling Ford dealer ask for parts and they might be able to print you one out if they have one (they usually don't charge for this) if they don't have one good luck finding one because they probably aren't any

Heater core

I believe this model heater core is located at the lower passenger side of the dash and can be removed without removing the dash. Check your firewall side under the hood for the heater hoses and it will give you an idea of where its located on the inside of the car. Hope this helps Chris

Change out heater core

Heater cores are quite easy to change, what's hard is taking down the entire dash assembly, start by taking off the meters, lonce this is done keep working piece by piece of the entire dash until you get to the core, this would be behind the glove box you need lots of room and many long extentions and definately need screw-gun careful not to lose any screws good luck

The only thing to do is get a diagram from the MAZDA dealer parts dept. "A few parts fell out" is way to vague to help you.

How do you install a heater core in a 1999 jeep grand cherokee?

I suggest review the ZJSecc24-Heating-and-Air-Conditioning

First you'll need remove the heater A/C unit from the vehicle; after, remove the heater core retaining screws, and finally, pull the heatrer core straight out of the housing.

Hop helped with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.
