First, is belt tight? is altenator plugged in correctly? have you missed something such as a blown main fuse in main fuse box under the hood? are the battery terminals tight?in main fuse box look for a blown ecm fuse blown. under the main box under the kid it will have a location of each and every relay.look for a blown main fuse,look for blown ecm fuse.is belt on the altenator have correct tension? it's possible to buy a bad altenator,but not unusual. pull altenator off and have it checked at autozone,advance auto for free. are you sure it was altenator and not battery? with engine running,take positive cable off battery,do not let it touch any meatal, if car runs,altenator good! check for bad battery! hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
