Do all the fuel checks. change fuel filter then test fuel pressure on the rail. you have to eliminate the possibility of fuel problems before you can go on.

Have a 1985 ford f150 302 efi v8 need to know the firing order?

1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 The rotor turns counter-clockwise. Make sure to keep #7 and #8 spark plug wires separated. The 5.0L had a problem with 7 and 8 cross-firing because they fire so close to each other. Ford changed the firing order on that engine, in later years , because of that reason. Hope this helps ya... Cobra :-)

Truck is skipping and coil is bad, but was replaced once already what could be the problem if it is the same coil D

Which cyl has the skip and which coil did you replace? There are 8 coils? right? Replace the spark plugs with Motorcraft Spark Pugs ONLY.

Motor Oil in with spark plugs, backfiring and stalling.

hey i actually just dealt with this problem last week ona friends car. the oil in the center with the spark plugs is because you need a new valve gasket. not a cover unless its cracked just the gasket and it costs about 25 dollars at your local parts store. its very easy to install and a quick fix but try to get all the oil out of the center as you can and rub a little bit of old oil on the gasket before you install it. it helps stop dry rot. try this first and then see if the backfiring and stalling stops. if not, you may need to change your spark plugs again even if you already have because chances are the oil thats already in the hole has burned up the spark plug. so give your spark plugs a good check while you change your valve gasket.
