Your transmission requires a special fluid. DIA QUEEN CVTF-J1
You can save yourself some time and go directly to the Mitsubishi dealer. You may hear alot of "recommended" replacements for the OEM fluid. With that CVT transmission, I recommend that you stay with OEM fluid.

Good Luck

Why the hyd. oil of trasmition gear blows out when it is hot

Hii Khlilrosh,
Sounds as if the gear box has been over filled. When checking and filling the gear box, always do so with the engine running! The engine should be at idle and the best way is to sit inside the vehicle with your foot pressed hard on the brake and the park brake on. Select each gear in turn and then leaving the vehicle in neutral with engine running, check the level on the dip stick with the red top. You'll notice there are four marks. Two indicate the level with a cold engine and the other two, if the engine is hot. (those are the upper two marks) The marks are indicated as hot and cold. Don't exceed the upper marks.

No have trasmition oil

Hi buddy, this is osaira .
I know how hard it is to see that when you are in a hurry and you wanna go somewhere but the engine gives you sounds like it has got burps.

Well it normally happens when there is lot of carbon residue on the innner surface of the fuel pipe ,so all you have to do is take you car to car doctor(mechanic) and ask him to clean the pipe line which goes from the oil valve to the engine and........................ thats it!!!
Thank you for giving me a chance to help you:):):)

Toyota prado 4000 vvti ,auto

Toyota likes to put separate transmission coolers in some of their SUVs, and they are usually mounted on the underside of the vehicle near the tranny itself. You may want to look and make sure that the cooler isn't plugged with sand in the fins...
