Has anyone had problems after disconnecting the factory alarm system in a 96 Chevy Blazer S 10?

you might want to check your fuel injectors as they might be going bad. AutoZone can test them for you. also check the fuel pressure at the TBI a "new" fuel pump doesn't mean it is good. ask the parts store the proper fuel pressure. also it might need the fuel filter changed.

Blazer will not start b turning ignition. Blazer will start when you put fuel in the top ofn the intake. Tested fuel pressure at test port and was fine.

sounds like the fuel pump needed to be replaced. That's what happened to mine. Once I replaced the fuel pump it was good to go. Hope this helps.

Have trouble code 45 on a 1993 s10 blazer 4.3l. Have replaced oxygen sensor, did not help

1994 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 4.3L, Vin W Customer Concern: DTC 45 The spark plugs are black on both banks. Right bank plugs are damp. Removed the tuning valve and looked inside the plenum. Can see a washed/clean area on the right side. Fuel pressure is good, it holds when the pump stops. Tests/Procedures: 1. Remove the upper intake plenum cover and inspect for a fuel leak at the fuel pressure regulator.

2. Inspect the fuel pressure regulator and return lines and fittings at the left side of the plenum.

3 Replace the Central Multipoint Fuel Injection (CMFI) unit. Potential Causes: Leaking Fuel Line - One or more may have a problem.
Leaking Fuel Pressure Regulator
Tech Tips: The fuel pressure regulator may only leak at a cold or hot engine, only with vacuum applied, or only without vacuum applied. The leaking at the fuel lines and fittings have as often been the result of repairs as the initial cause of the problem. Handle the lines and fittings carefully. The fuel pressure regulator is a integral part of the Central Multi-port Fuel Injection (CMFI) unit. Any failure requires entire unit replacement.

My 96 blazer doesn't start. It is getting gas and

sounds like the fuel pump isn't working. check your fuses. and when you turn the ignition on don't try to start it but just turn it to the on position and listen for a humming noise that would be you fuel pump pressurizing the lines if you don't hear a noise then i would replace the fuel pump. Hope this helps.

Starts fine, but then bogs out when accelerating, practicaly have to give it no gas and creep up to speed.Doesn't want to go up hills. Just replaced the cpi, fuel filter and fuel pump 3 months ago. Also...

Check the fuel pressure regulator and the EGR valve, I would check the fuel pressure regulator first and go from there. Good luck and keep me posted. Not sure what the pressure should be but thinking it's 62 to 65 PSI upon start up and should drop 5 PSI when engine running, check the vacuum line to the regulator.

probably not fuel filter . probably going to have to remove the upper intake and replace the fuel injector spider(fuel inj assebly) if it is droping fuel pressure it is leaking into the upper manifold

Fuel Pressure Regulator.

if it has the central fuel injection, the regulator is on the metering
body under the intake pletium. auto parts gets about $45 dollars for it. you also need to replace gaskets as well.
