Question about 2007 Honda Accord Sedan

2 Answers

I changed the battery in my 2007 Honda Accord LX. Now the radio clock is flashing and when I try and turn on the radio is says ERROR #. Each time I touch any buttons it spells out CODE one letter at a time with each button I touch then ERROR # comes back up. (i.e. ERROR 1; CODE; ERROR 2; CODE, etc.) I quit at ERROR 4? Any ideas how to fix this?

Look in the glove box for the code , some dealers stick it to the box door. When it ask for code punch in those numbers. Some dealers put the code in the front of owners manual too. I think its five numbers

Having lost supply to the radio you will now need to enter the activating code that came with the car when new. If you bought it second hand it should have been passed on to you by the previous owner or dealer. Last resort is go to a Honda dealer. It is a means to prevent radios being stolen

How do you change the clock on a 2007 honda accord? Thanks

Hi, I have an 2008 and I think there might be some difference in appearance of the radios between the two year models but the basic settings should be about the same, 1. press and hold clock button until it beeps and display flashes 2. locate buttons that might have a tiny H (hour) and M (minute) by them, if it has preset buttons that's where they are on the 08, it might even be the tuning knob but you can find them. 3. once time is set press clock button again to exit set mode. Hope it helps you!

I have a 2004 Honda Accord LX. The radio keeps going off and on

My 2003 Accord LX does the same thing. It started about 6mo ago and it becomes more and more often. I just went outside to kick the off from inside the wheel wells and the stereo came on.

My battery died on me the other day and now the radio won't work.

The Accord radio does indeed require a code. Have you tried just putting the code in. If you do not know the code do not attempt to guess, as after a few attempts you will lock the radio for good. I need to know the error message exactly as you see it if inserting the code does not work.

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.

2007 Honda Accord--battery died now radio and clock don't work

Hi. Jumping the battery when the radio is turned on will often cause a problem. I would check the fuses for the radio first as one of them may have blown. Regarding the clock it is blinking and needs to be reset.

Since this is a relatively new car I recommend going to a book store and purchasing the service manual for Honda which includes the 2007 models. This will you how to reset the clock. Then keep the manual in the glove compartment for all future reference.

Good luck.

I need code for my 2005 honda accord radio

Check owners manual, made written on inside of covers or on radio pages.  IF not check inside of glovebox for four digit code.  If not luck, remove radio document all number, ie serial number on unit and call local honda dealer.  They must run the VIN and radio info back to the motherland to get lock code.
