Question about 1992 Lincoln Town Car
Are there freeze plugs at the rear of the motor?
Hi if you mean engine core plugs? as we know/call them in uk then yes! both on cyl heads and the more important (largest ) isbehind the flywheel this is the important one due to the cyl blck is the thinnest weaker part of the block/cooling system and should engine block freeze ??then this plug will pop out/leak as ice expands as you know? and consequently leak as ice melts? olso it is suseptible to rusting and eventually seep coolant hope this helps your querie ?
