2001 dodge stratus oil?

Listed in your owner's manual. I can tell you it is not a 40 weight oil. It will either be 5w30, or 10w30. 5W-30 unless you live in the most southern states or mexico then 10W-30

What brings on this question might I ask? Low engine out put from the unlikely stuck or burnt valve could upset the transmisson shift points. TPS signal is based on a pre mapped torque curve. If the power isn't there then yes the transmisson could have issues. What makes you feel there is a problem with the intake valve? And also is this the 2.7L engine?
