If this is a silverado then under the car directly under the drivers seat unplug the power wires going to the abs pump. See if this helps if it does then sell your truck. The pump is over $1000 used lol. You could leave it unplugged and just deal with the light.

If you have brake fade that is if you hold the brake pedal down and it slowly goes down to the floor you probably need a master cylinder

Abs problem when i apply my brakes they hold for a few seconds then the peddle goes to the floor dash brake light works but not coming on

I don't think it'a a abs problem ,sounds like a brake booster or master cylinder issue. Good luck hope this helps some.

ABS light on when cold, then goes off. The brakes grab and lock when stopped and will not release without major coaxing. It seems they engage at low cornering turns acting as if the vehicle is in 4wd....

Sounds like you have sticking caliper pistons, have you ever changed brake fluid? Replace calipers and flush brake fluid and clean ABS sensors with
ABS safe brake clean.

Spungy brake peddle and goes to the floor gm says nature of the beast stops ok but doesn't feel right

that is one of the wosrt ABS system it dose cause a soft peddle but you can sometimes adjust up the rear brakes to help this problem, also find a dirt road and slam on the brakes just enough to cause the ABS pump to kick on it will also give you a better peddle

1998 Nissan Pathfinder break lights stay on although car is off.

Check the brake light switch. It is in the drivers floor board, behind the brake peddle. The switch looks like a box with a button on it. the brake peddle is pressed, and presses the brake light switch. If the switch sticks, the brake lights will stay on.
