had miss fires with my 92 legacy gt.typical suby fault coil packs always go out in saying that check that you dont just have a foul or failed spark plug. easy fix if it is the coil i replaced mine with 2nd hand ones from the same model usualy find them at most subaru specialists wreckers etc depending on model.

At idle miss firing on cyl 1 3 5

Check connectors for injectors and plug coils. The read out would have told you what injector or plug was faulty. Come back with the code numbers.

Check engine light is on and it reads Misfire on #2 cylinder. Also oxygen sensor bank2 sensor 1 and Bank 1 sensor 3 behind the converter. Engine running rough.

the engine miss fire can cause the other codes to set. you need to repair the miss fire and clear all codes after the miss is repaired then see if the 02 sensor codes return. the miss fire is probably a bad spark plug wire a good tune-up should take care of it ........HAVE A GREAT DAY

The #1 cylinder is located at the front spark plug on the right or passenger side of the engine, and here is a firing order diagram to help assist you.

Miss fire on #3cyl. where is #3 located

Number 3 is the 3rd plug back on the passenger side. Coils are notorious for going bad, I would recommend replacing the spark plugs, while you are there. Use Auto Lite, or Motorcraft Platinum Spark plugs only.

Miss fire

Sounds like the TPS (throttle position sensor) at the throttle body there is a black box on the opposite side to the cable mech, looking at it from front of car place a multimeter into where the 4 wires enter. between pin 1 (nearest to you) and pin 2 when the throttle is closed (no foot on the gas) it should read 5volts if not losen the 2 screws that lock it (this requires a very long screwdriver) and twist it until it reads 5v.
Hope you don't skin your knuckles.... Dan
