no doesn.t look like a diagnostic port

must have just a neutral light then

cant find a free repair manual for that
to add the gears indicator needs a bit of kit and

Where is diagnostic port located on 88 ford e250 econoline van?,and what does it look like? I have searched under dash driver side and under hood.

It might not have a diagnostic port. It is an 88. If it does, then most likely it will be in the harness. What issues are you having with it?

THE PORT SHOULD BE TO THE RIGHT OF THE STEERING COLUMN. THERE SHOULD BE A RECTANGULAR HOLE IN THE COVER THAT IS UNDER THE DASHBOARD .LOOK HARD WITH A FLASH LIGHT AND YOU WILL FIND IT.GOOD LUCK HUNTING.

No power at the obdc for 2006 silverado 1500

I checked the manual, and there is no listing of a fuse for the OBDII connector port, but I think at one time I found a blown cigarette lighter fuse also powered the diagnostic port. Unfortunately, I believe that was a Ford, so it probably won't help, but is worth checking.
Next thing to check is the scan tool you are using. Look up the manufacturer of the scan tool to make sure it is compatible with your 06 chevy. I have heard of problems accessing GM diagnostic ports with a number of scanners. You may have to try a different code scanner, or bring it to a GM dealer. Let me know how you make out.

Diagnostic

Check your fuse panel for a fuse panel. You are probably not getting power to your diagnostics port on your vehicle. I do not remember which fuse the port is under but just look for the blown one.
