misfires are more that often from faulty injectors and not spark related
check fuel pressure and injector condition
use fuel conditioner in the tank

3.0 loaps and wont idle replaced intaken gaskets and now it wont idle


If you just replaced intake gaskets and it wont idle properly its because the gasket you installed is leaking

the first thing to go wrong with any petrol(gas)engine for marine use is ELECTRICS,unless fully sealed,so start at the beginning and clean/replace any suspect parts(once done you know they will be free of problems)then check fuel tank/filter/carb for water contamination/dirt,then check all hoses for air/water leaks.you have only got the engine itself last....

have you checked the oxygen sensor on that side commonly on cheverolet the O2 sensor will read wrong and over fuel or under fuel an entire bank
