First take out the screws holding the trim. One above the headlight switch, one above the cigarette lighter, 2 above the instrument cluster. Now pull hard to make sure it pops loose from the clips. You have to pull it away from the dash completely. Now you will see the instrument cluster. Undue 4 screws, one on each corner. Behind the cluster, there will be 2 wire harnesses. Squeeze the ends to release them from the cluster. You will now have access to all of the bulbs.

There are a few bulbs in the dash.
If all of them are out - I would suspect something like a fuse rather than the bulbs.....
Hope this helps

95 Jeep Cherokee Sport i have no dash lights no tail lights no parking lights when i push on the brakes the dash lights come on

It sounds like you have a bulb shorted out. I would check all the tailight bulbs. Start by removing them from the sockets. and then retest you brakes to see if they turn on the dash lights. If they dont then i would replace the bulbs and retest.

I have a 1999 jeep ckerokee sport.....need to know what fuse does what....dash lights went out tonight. fuse box doesn't say anything.

this may sound time consuming but first take each out individualy and check that they are good, u should be able to see a small piece of wire in it,if this is broke in two its bad, check them 1 by 1 to avoid misplacing, i usually use a pair of my wifes eyebrow tweezers to pull them out, she dont like it but they work great,so do hemostats ( medical insturment)

Got a 95 olds aurora that the dash lights ( not indecater lights) have stop working, what maybe the problem?

Hi! regarding the dash light issue. It may be a fuse problem, try to check the fuse box if theres any broken fuse that may need replacement. If it doesnt fix this then the bulb may have a problem, if you can just pull the instrumental panel and pull the bulbs at the back and replace blackish color bulbs (indication that a bulb is worn). hope this helps

Instrument cluster lights don't work. Fuses and bulbs are good.

feed wire for the lights may have failed or the circuit on the board may have gone. if you remove the cluster you can put a supply to the bulb circuit (carefully) and check if it is the circuit. If it's ok you can run a new feed to the cluster from your lights. Job done.

1994 Jeep cherokee am/fm radio backlight lamp is out and AC/Heat dash lamp is out

There is a tiny little peanut shaped light bulb inside the radio that provides the light for the dial, it is replaceable, you will need to remove the radio, then pull the top cover off the radio chassis, the bulb is under the cover.

Your problem is in te combination switch (the light switch that turns the lights on). Replace it and it should be happy again.
