Question about 1997 Pontiac Sunfire
Take the lock out and have a look ,if it appears ok thenm you have the wrong key ,someone has changed the lock for whatever ,if so remove the clip retainer off the end and remove the barrel ,the you will see the that with the key tumblers are not retracting into the barrel ,now sometimes you can swop a few around but you always end up with one or two not right so i grind them down then the key will work ,refit the retainer/clip refit the lock and away you go all locks work with the same key .
