Check your pcv valve your crankcase may not be getting proper ventilation.you can find it on one of the valve covers. its a plug in directly into the valve cover and it allows for proper ventilation to the bottom of motor. when one gets clogged, they tend to **** oil into the throttle body of the motor. thank you for choosing fixya.com

oncallmech gave an excellent answer. One other thing to consider is overfilling the crankcase with oil. If the engine has too mcuh oil, the crankshaft will pick up oil and throw it into the cylinder bores where it can be pulled into the combuston chambers. The oil that didn't get burned in the combustion chamber would make it's way to the throttle body via the EGR valve. You would also have a little bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust pipe.

do a compression test.if there is blow by and there is excess crankcase pressure,or a defective pcv ,there could be oil in the throttle body,as the crankcase gasses that are supposed to be re burned contain oil.if there is in the range of 200000 km,it is possible.

Vehicle is used for mail delivery. outside temps in the 90s. two&half hours into delivery the engine stalls periodically. after few cranks it starts. temp gauge & radiator ok. oil pressure gauge is...

Clean your Throttle body with throttle body cleaner or Deep Creep made by Seafoam. When the carbon and varnish build up in your throttle body get's hot, it gums up the IAC (Idle air control) valve which help moderate your engine's rpm to keep it from stalling.
If the IAC is stuck due to the gum of the carbon and varnish in your throttle body, you have stalling issues which you have described. Start with that and replace your air cleaner filter since your going to clean your throttle body.
Good luck and be safe, thank you for using fixya and post us back.

The blazer is a 4.3 vortech. the fuel is going into the fuel rail but is failing getting in the throttle body. so what could be the problem

Fuel does not go into the throttle body on that engine. nThe throttle body is for air intake only. Fuel goes to six individule injectors via the fuel rail. Check for correct fuel pressure at the shchrader valve on the fuel rail. Correct pressure is 55 to 61 PSI. Anything less indicates a bad pump and possible dirty fuel filter.

I have a 94 blazer 4.3 fuel injected and it is pumping gas into the oil

how often do you idle this blazer. if you idle alot this this adequetly lubricate the cylinder walls and what happens is "fuel wash", which then progressively wear the cylinders, rings, and piston ring lands and grooves. you may also have a throttle body/injector problem causing over fueling. any sign of smoke?
