Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
The remote control actually separates in half. Using a small flatblade screwdriver pry in the **** on the side of the remote turning the screwdriver left and right. The remote should separate into a part with the key and the other part which contains the battery. Use the key to pry up the battery cap on the second part by sliding the flat part of the key into the slot on the side. It should pop up exposing the battery. Assemble in reverse order. it's hard to explain without pictures so I hope you were able to understand my explanation.
