Question about 2004 Pontiac Grand Am
You may still need to try a boost from another car.it may still not have enough of a charge to turn starter. any clicking at all when you attempt to start? if this does'nt work, look under hood in black main fuse box, lift cover off box.under the cover you should see locations of certain fuses and relays. check for bad starter relay or fuse, also check for a main ecm fuse bad and a bad main engine fuse bad. the only other alternative is bad starter. don't know how mechanically inclined you are but if a starter going bad, sometimes you can get one last start out of a bad starter by tapping on it while someone holds key in start position. do not attempt if you're not mechanically inclined as there are very high voltage wires going to the starter that you don't want to accidently hit and short out! hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
