I can only give you what happened to me. Is the passenger side front carpeting wet or has it been wet in the past? If so, remove the carpeting/insulation on the passenger side (remove passenger seat as well). Find the wiring harness that runs under the carpet and connects to the car's computer (which is under the passenger's seat). Look for corrosion at the electrical connector and replace if necessary. Also inspect the harness for wear through causing a ground. I had lots of problems with my Daewoo until I found that issue. I would up replacing the electrical connector going into the computer and presto...no more problems! I hope this helps. In addition, you need to remember that the defrosters and AC generate moisture which collects in a little drip pan underneath the heater. There is a drain hose that routinely gets clogged which causes the carpeting inside on the passengers side to get wet. Fix that drain line - replace with a larger diameter hose if possible. I blow mine out regularly using compressed air.

Were is thermastatic fan switch daewoo lanos 2000 1.6

The part looks like this: http://www.theautopartsshop.com/search/LargeImage.aspx?imgPath=BA/BA%202011358-1.jpg

Everything from the T-looking part to the threads should be visible somewhere around the thermostat housing or on the back of the engine block, possibly underneath the intake manifold. You might need to get underneath the car to see it. Possibly remove the exhaust pipe to gain access.

Hi I have 1998 Daewoo Lanos Hatch back I am trying to located the spot where I can put a baby bolt in ? I cannot find it ! Thanks Tanya from Brisbane

In the 1999 Lanos Hatch, there is no bolt. There is a link where you can attach the standard clip. It's located in the rear centre of the luggage space. feed it over the back seat, in between the seat & the folding cover & clip in accordingly. You may need to buy an extension to reach it. Hoping this helps.

How do you replace a oxygen sensor?

For 2000 Daewoo Lanos 1.6L MFI DOHC 4cyl the Oxygen Sensor is located under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, mounted in exhaust pipe in front of catalytic converter.

Good luck (remember rated this).

Your injectors need cleaning. Try some fuel injector cleaner pour it in the fuel tank and drive around. Change your air filter. Clean Throttle Body with carburetor cleaner.
