Audi 1.9 TD, Heater blows hot then cold and the temperture rise's intermiterly

yep Jeremy is is right its the heater core, they still will flow good but not heat, which is very confusing. I donated one that I replaced to science and cut it open, there are many tubes that make up the heater core and inside each tube is a twisted piece of metal that looks like a DNA strand or something. these become coated with the stop leak aditives in the G12(audi/vw factory coolant). G12 is similar to dexcool, it does the same thing except it is pink and has way better anti corrosion propertys.

I get no heat from my audi A6 1997 car my blower works ,I changed thermostat and radiator still not working.

I had no heat after replacing the water pump on my 96 Audi A6 quattro. After reading the last post, I found a bleeder on one of the hoses going to the heater core. I just turned it and it allowed the air to escape. Then I had heat.

How to raplace heater radiator on a audi a6 guatro 95'' has a great resource of manuals with pictures and explanations...however...this is typically a major job (replacing the heater core) and should be performed by both a competent and confident mechanic. If you are inexperienced I do not reccomend you attempt this alone. You have to sign up for an account with Autozone. It is free and you can save all kinds of details there about your vehicle. Very useful site.

leaking heater core or hose that feeds it. look for hoses that pass thru the firewall to passenger compartment. Most times the hose is clamped to a pipe at the firewall so you may just need a hose

Audi a6 heaters not given out hot air

the heater cores in these cars get clogged up very commonly. pull the heater hoses off of the heater core in the engine compartment, and use a regular garden hose to backflush the heatercore. spray in one way, then the other, untill clear water is coming out. then refill your coolant reservoir and see if that helps.
