No. How many miles on this truck? Is it using oil or losing oil? High mileage engines use oil because piston rings are worn along with everything else. A quart low is too much.

Oil pressure too low when engine is on working temperature and idles.engine was overhauled 1000 km ago and new oilpump installed

next time you change the oil use a quart of Lucus oil treatment inplace of one quart of oil. The oil is warmed up it loses viscosity so that is normal to have lower oil pressure. I use Lucus oil treatment along with Mobil 1 and my truck runs great with just a little higher oil pressure this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

My montero sport is burning oil what the cause.?

Could be worn piston rings letting oil into the top of cylinder from below, or worn valve stem seals or valve guides letting oil in from above.. A shop could do a compression test or a leak-down test and give you a good idea of the engine's health. Low compression on any of the cylinders means the rings or valves are not sealing well, and could let oil in to burn. Either of the tests could point to the problem, but a leak-down test is considered the more accurate test
How much is burning? If you are burning more than a quart every thousand miles, it is a problem that needs attention. Most car makers say a quart every 3 thousand miles is not a problem and may be considered normal, although owners may dispute that as they often do. Some engines just seem to lose no oil between oil changes, but most do use or lose a little oil between changes, it is normal. If your oil consumption is on the high end, have the test done. If your rings are good, a cylinder head job (for the valve work) is much less expensive than an engine rebuild.

White smoke coming out of tail pipe.

WHITE smoke? Or BLUE smoke? White smoke is usually caused by burning antifreeze (possible blown head gasket). Engine oil burning causes a bluish colored smoke.

Changing the oil two months ago means absolutely nothing to me. I have customers that travel 6000 miles or more in a month. Oil consumption is measured in volume over miles, not volume over months. It is normal for most 4 cylinder engines to use a little less than 1/2 quart in 1000 miles (even more than that for 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder engines).

Bought certified BMX 335i convertible and after only 3000 miles of driving the low oil light is on. Is this normal oil consumption or is there a problem?

Though I am not familiar with the 2007 model, on the e46s, I know that the low oil light comes on when you are down only about 1/2 quart. Does your model have a dip stick?
A half quart in 3000 miles is not cause for concern. Most of them burn a bit less than that, at least during the first 200k miles, but some burn more. It depends to some extent what kind of oil you are using. It will burn more Mobile1 than it will Castrol Syntec, for example.
I have an '04 330 that uses about a half quart in 7k miles between oil changes, and an '04 325 that goes through a quart every thousand miles. I am only a little concerned about the 325. I would not be at all concerned about a half quart in 3k miles.

Used 3.5 quarts of oil in 4000 miles

that is still within the factory spec for normal oil useage. one quart every 750 is considered excessive, i do agree that it should be less, but if this is a warranty issue u are out of luck, they won't do anything.

2005 toyota corolla motor oil capacity?

if you have a 1ZZ engine

4.2 quarts, 4.4 quarts with oil filter change

if you have the 2ZZ engine (XRS model) it is

4.4 quarts, 4.6 quarts with oil filter change

NOTE these are updated capacities that reflect changes identified in TSB: TSB-0134-08 issued July 15, 2008.
Your owners manual will reflect a lesser quantity that Toyota has since revised.

Oil capacity

4 quarts if you want to make sure put 3 1/2 quarts first then check the oil level with the dipstick. If still a little low then add the rest. It's 4 quarts though for a 2.2 l size engine.

You will need to change your head gasket. You need a headgasket set. All of your seals are going bad. You have a little oil going through your exhaust manifold, and the heat is cooking the oil. If you dont change these seals soon, you might have to buy a new catalytic converter. If your converter cooks all of that oil, it makes your engine very noisy.
