Hidden with the steering column.
With a floor jack and a piece of wood. Raise the engine just a little from the Oil pan, becarefull only with wood, because the oil pan is made with aluminun, it's can broke easy.
Untill you get axces to the spark plug.

I have a 98 blazer 4wd emergency lights switch

If you purchase the complete multifunction switch to repair, you will need to disassemble the column covers and steering wheel to access the screws. If you purchase just the hazard switch (sometimes available from GM), just remove the upper cover and use a pocket screwdriver down the side to release the lock tab. Then insert the new switch and reinstall the cover.

Spark plg change steering column in way

Your talking about the middle plug on the drivers side on a V6 right? Just did one for a customer a few days ago. I used the plug socket and then used an offset wrench on the top of the socket and turned it about 1/8 of a turn at a time. I have taken the column off at the bottom before, but didn't want to this time. It is time consuming. Be patient and it will come out.
