CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS. MOST OF THE TIME YOU WILL HEAR A WHISTLING NOISE OR A SUCKING SOUND. YOU CAN GET A CAN OF SPRAY CARB CLEANER AND SPRAY AROUND ENGINE,IF ENGINE CHANGES RPM'S THAT AREA IS OF CONCERN. POSSIBLE AIC VALVE STICKING OR SLOW TO RESPOND.

Have the ABS pump ECM checked (it is separate from the main ECM), try to catch it early. I bought a transmission last year. This is typical 98-02 Rodeo behavior.

Underhood fuse block swap out relay #7 thats the ECM relay.
Ground Circuits Using a DVOM, touch negative voltmeter lead to a good ground. Touch positive voltmeter lead to each ground terminal. With vehicle running, voltmeter should indicate less than one volt. If reading is greater than one volt, check for open, corrosion and loose connection on ground lead. See ECM GROUND LOCATION table for ECM ground location.

Not getting any fire in 94 isuzu rodeo

SWITCH ASM; POWER,IGN COIL 8-94474-294-2 Go to myisuzuparts.com and find this part number. This part is under the intake manifold. No crank sensor as is has a distributor. 8-94474-294-2 1 05-1990 to 08-1994

Crank Sensor in 94 Isuzu Rodeo

it's on the bottom of the motor, towards the back on the passenger side. It has a small clip of wires and one screw holding it on. You may want to pull it up on ramps- if it'll run- otherwise, get under the Rodeo, it's up a little higher than the oil pan, and to the passenger side. (it's right on top of the two lines that run to the bottom of the radiator.) You will need a 10mm socket to remove it. I have added a few pics showing the location (i just completed this task myself)
