I out in a used transmission in a 2001 chevy tahoe 2wd and it only wants to drive in reverse how do i fix it? is it the nuetral safety switch?

Do you mean you have just fitted a used transmission? Now it only goes in reverse? Did you know it was fully functioning when you got it? Tell us more about what you have done. Is the oil level correct? What does the seller say?
