There is a chip inside your key, unless you have that chip type key,the car will not can get one from dealership for about $75.00 you will need to take the vin# with you and registration of the car with you to dealer. a regular key will not work. have you looked in the glove box for a valet key? if you have one you can only drive the car for about 15minutes and then it will shut down. suggest you call honda dealer with all your information on the car for price. check other dealerships also. one dealer may be cheaper than the other.sorry for your trouble. thank you for choosing please rate my solution if i've assisted you. thanks

2003 honda accord wont turn over. gear indicater on dash shows P and D simultaneously when key is turned to start

Sounds like the car thinks it is still in drive so will not start! Try selecting other gears to free it or remove the gear selecter switch and cleaning or replacing!

My honda 2003 accord will go into my door lock and ignition but will not turn in either

what will go into, missing noun, a key?

you have a key, just one, all cars come with 2,

so all keys fail , and where, ??

will not turn means,

wrong key

key worn out, that is why there are 2

key lock full of ICE,

never own any car with one key, or get stranded.

on my POS jeep i have to have 3, smart key Bs. (dont ask, grrrrrr)

tell more get more.

the electric is like this (above is mech, locks)

1: check all fuse, in both boxes.

2: use both fobs 1 at time, and never both near key lock.

3: use only the fob , with no other keys near. (neat)

4: if both fobs fail, this the car side failing

5: if one fob fails it need a new internal battery 99%) or got soaked.

6: if non above works reset the cars security system (ask if this far)

never reset, blindly or risk , losing radio or nav secret codes.

always ask for newer cars. newer car suck this way. big time.

on my car, if i fool it, it goes dumb for 24hours. watch out.

I lost my can i start the car with no key any idea? it is 92 honda accord. please help???

i would contact a dealer as a first step.. if they cannot provide you with a new key, then i think you are going to have to buy a new lock cylinder, and that willl come from a dealer also. look on youtube for videos of folks replacing lock cylinders on hondas.

03 Honda Accord. Keys no longer work.

you are having a problem with your immobilizer unit. the key may just need to be reproggramed. this can only be performed by a honda dealer with a honda diagnostic scan tool

I'm having the same problem with my key remote, except its a 2008 Accord. First one key stopped, I thought it was the battery, but just switched to the second key now that one went

Most likely your calibration was lost between your remotes and the car. You should still be under warranty anyway if you are under 36,000 miles.

Program my Honda accord Key

I've not heard of Brake Codes working on the 3rd or 4th generation Rolling Code Sidewinder Keys. There is simply no reason to, since a Honda Tech can simply access the Immobilizer System through the HDS (Honda Diagnostic System Laptop) with the Daily Access Security code providec by the Honda System. He can even reflash (reprogram) the ECM using this Daily Code.

In a case like this, normally Honda will have the Accord towed in and do a "All Keys Lost" reset with a new set of keys. This will also prevent your "Lost keys" from being used in the future by who ever may find them.

If you ever buy a used Honda at a Honda Dealership, most likely they also did a complete Key code reset just in case to protect you.
