Question about 2002 Dodge Caravan
Hi my car has been doing this on occasion for 8 months now!! It starts bucking and acting like it aint getting the gas, then the engine light comes on! I took it to the local garage and the computer says it is not fireing or it missed a fire they changed my plugs and it seemed ok for a while but then it acted up agian and another garage said the computer lead them to think one of two things and the changed the cam head sensor, and the engine light went off and it is running for a few more months and I noticed on another hot day when driving slow it started bucking and chokeing like agian so I slowley reached a higher speed and went home with no more problem ( No Ingine Light)
Now today a month after that on a hot day driving slow it started agian and it was little worse and the Light went on! but I got it up to speed and it seemed ok but the light was on and I took it ti the garage and agian it says it is not fireing and he reset the engine light and off I went????
What is wrong???? Could it be a bad computer??? Could it be a stickey clogging fuel injector???? What do you think Sorry for the long story !!!
That is Limp mode.
Probably a frayed wire to the speed sensor.
Very common. You can access the speed sensor through the left side wheel well. It is a plastic thing.. with a two wire lead coming out of it..
