Question about 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ext

High speed vibration

I have a vibration that starts at about 63 mph, continues to about 68 mph and stops at higher speeds. Have completely replaced and rebalanced the tires. Have checked for missing weight on the drive shaft. Dealer has no clue.
The vibration is more audio than physical .

There are many stages of vibration. The most common is in the steering and USUALLY a steering dampner will correct this. However, your description is not real defined and until the technician actually experiences it, it cannot be properly diagnosed

You most likely need to get your wheels/tires rebalanced. Just for safety's sake you may want to get the suspension checked for any loose or worn parts, but my bet is that you just need to get your tires rebalanced and you will be good to go.

Sounds like either an out of balance drive shaft or suspension components are shot. Thoroughly check each bushing, ball joint and tie-rod end to make sure they are not worn. Also make sure it's not an out of balance tire or bad tire and that your air pressure in each tire is the same. Good luck

Front end vibration

on both my Camrys, i had this problem. You could really notice it when you were driving down the road going 40-60 mph and punch the gas - car would vibrate, let off the gas - vibration stops, punch the gas - car vibrates...... On both, it was the CV joints. It is much easier to just replace the drive axles (with the new cv joints and boots already installed). For my last replacement, i think thy were only around $65 each.
