11000 miles car just clicks no start never had any starting problem before 2 days before radio and onstar did not work and no sound from turn signials ? when car was restarted same day everything worked?

The Radio and OnStar are monitored by the BCM, so removing the stock radio will have confused it. Details in the link.

You will need to purchase a separate module that will allow the factory options that originally are routed through the radio to still work. Believe it or not, many GM vehicles will not start with the factory radio removed unless the separate emulator installed.

for nothing on the dash to work ,it indicates that a ground wire is missing, broken or the ground point is rusted
Could be the BCM unit so run the fault codes as well

If the batt light is on, the alternator is not charging the battery.

It sounds like it would more than likely be a short from some where within the wires probably a speaker wire try turning the radio of then on whilst the ignition is on. Then turn the radio back up again.

I was told by on star that if you leave the drivers door open for 90 seconds and then lock all of the doors and wait until the next day the system will reset itself. I know this sounds like smoke and mirrors but it does work. Please let me know. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with my 04 Suburban, sound and then no sound from anything (radio, on star, door chime, etc). The dealership thought it was the radio, so they put a new radio in. A day later the same problem. It turned out to be the amplifier under the center console. Everything is working with no problem for over a year.
