Key fob wont work changed the battery

I'm not really sure if this will work, but try disconnecting the negative terminal on battery, insert key in ignition (don't turn on, just insert it) then reattach cable.

2006 Chrysler Sebring just had battery changed now i have no headlights or fog lights, but I do have parking lights and tail lights. any thoughts

If everything was working before the battery change, whoever did the work broke something, disconnected something or did something else to cause the problem. Goo back to whoever changed the battery.

Changed battery cables now subwoofer isn't working in my 1997 ford expedition

Check the fuse for the power wire for the amp. Up somewhere by the battery in line of a red cable leading to the battery post.

Battery died, changed battery and now engine wont crank.

Look for a blown starter fuse or fusible link in your underhood block. Also look for what made it blow.

I changed my car battery, now my 2008 Nissan Altima key fob won't work

There is a special procedure involved in keying your fob to your car once the battery has been changed. You must lock and open the door with your key. Turn the ignition to "on"(not start) then push the fob's open and close button, then shut off ignition. This procedure is done everything the key battery is changed. Hope this can help you!

My battery wouldnt hold a charge, changed battery and now idles low cruise control quit working and code port doesnt work to get code. Sounds like its missing now, changed battery 2 weeks ago and problems...

Are all your "idiot lights" on? I had the same symptoms, turned out to be a bad coil on one of the cylinders. Cost is about $80 for the coil, very easy to change. So, my advise would be to check your coils. Also, make sure you clean your throttle bottle, especially after a battery change. If not, will cause problems with idle, especially if the A/C is on.

Throttle body: unhook your battery, clean the throttle body with carb cleaner. Hook battery back up, and drive it for 5 miles or so, so the computer re-sets.

My husband changed the battery to my car and now my alarm doesn't work any idea how to reset it so it could lock and unlock on the alarm.

you can try this solution...

turn on and off your ignition switch with out starting it..and leave it on on the fifth time then press your lock button of your alarm.

if it makes a sound, it would work but if not, then that is not the reset procedure.
it works in some alarm models...

another thought would be sometimes power wires from the battery could have overlooked and left not connected to the battery specially after a battery change.

it happened to me a lot. after changing a battery, i would overlooked one wire and something would no longer work.

try both solutions and hopefully one would work.

tnx 4 using fixya,
