What does it mean when radio says code e in a 1999 honda accord

  1. That usually means that someone entered wrong security code too many times. Try disconnecting the cars battery for approx. 15 minutes. Reconnect battery and see if radio just says code without the e. If it does then you will have to try entering the correct code. If you do not know the code you will have to remove the radio and get the serial # off the radio and contact Honda to get code. You will have to go to the Honda dealer and prove you own the car.

Had my battery changed and now radio isn't working. It says err. Is there a code to plug in? 1999 honda accord. Thanks ...

Yes there is a code, most dealerships put the code in the manuel for the car it would be four numbers long usually in ink pen. If not contact any honda dealership and they will give you the number to call so you can get the correct code you will need proof of ownership, vin registration drivers license to prove it is not a stolen radio.

Replaced battery on my 99 Honda Accord LX and the radio does not work. I read that there is a code I need to enter so it can work? Please advise.

This code should be in your glove box with manualy, and you use the preset staition buttons to enter this code. if code is not found then radio has to be removed and serail # recorded then go to dealer with registration to prove ownership and they will give you the code.the code is on a card the size of a credit card. hope this is helpful.

My radio on my honda accord keeps showing code e, what does that mean?

Means that it is requesting the code (anti theft) to reactivate the radio. In all probability, the vehicle battery was disconnected and the anti theft tripped.

I have a 1999 Honda Accord and I took the battery off now my radio needs a security code to unlock it can you find me that code?? Please Thank You

If the code isn't noted somewhere in your manual check the back of the radio for the code. You might also be able to take it to a local dealer and have them look it up for you.

95 honda accord radio code

Remover the radio from the dash and get the serial number from the back of it. Take that number and your VIN to a Honda dealer and they should be able to get you the security code. They will likely ask for your registration and driver's license to prove you own the vehicle.
