Question about 1991 Dodge Dakota

Ok i have a 91 dodge dakota. and i have the ability to use my washer fluid but the wipers them self do not work at all even when i use my washer fluid. i've tried replacing the fuse cuz that was blown but that did not work.. any other suggestions? Thanks Ryan

Have you checked the fuse again after you replaced it to see if you blew it again ? the wiper motor might also be bad and that could have caused the original fuse blow.

My 2006 Dodge Dakota windshield washer fluid does not spray. I checked the washer pump and it works. The fuses are all good. And the wipers work. When I press the windshield washer button inside the truck...


If the pump works, something should be flowing thru the hose to the spray nozzles.
And if the pump works, everything electrical is working.
How do you know the pump works ?

Tur the wipers on and tap the wiper motor. If it start to work replace it.

Changed wiper motor when it blew the fuse. it worked about a day and now it blows the fuse even with the wiper switch off in need of the wiring diagram for an 87 dodge dakota wiper assembly


YOUR WIPER SWITCH HAS A SHORT OR THE WIRING GOING TO THE WIPER MOTOR HAS A SHORT.CHECK WIRING FOR BREAKS AND OPENS THAT WOULD CAUSE SHORTING.

Windshield wiper fluid does not squirt out


go to a service station with an air compressor and with the air turned down to about 20 lbs blow into the washer top small hole to force fluid thru the hoses,not a lot of pressure so you blow hoses off or rupture something

Blown tranny in 60 KM 91 dakota let me down


hi, ok. if your torque converter is full then, you will need 5 qrts. if the torque converter and tranny is bone. it will need 8 qrts.
