You have lost vacuum to the AC/Heater control switch that moves the air around. Either the switch is leaking or the vacuum line is off or damaged at the engine or the vacuum reservoir under the hood.

Where are the trap doors for heating & air conditioning for a 1995 olds cutlass ? I am told that is my problem to my no heat situtaion.I had heat before, I did have to change the heater core &...

Most GM vehicles uses a vacuum to control the hot/cold blend door selector on the AC/Heat. The vacuum line is usually tied to the cruise control .

One thing to check is test your cruise control to see if it still works or not.

I've fixed many ac/heat blend doors by tracing the vacuum hoses and found it to be detached or broken and connected them back and works

I checked the eng temp with a scanner and infered thremometer coolant temp is 195 to 210. both heater core pipes are 174 to 168f. the inside discharge is only 76f. this vehicle has dual a/c heat both sides...

it is located under the dash, most likely on the passengers side, close to the kick panel... but it doesnt seem like an actuator to me.... it sounds more like heater core, i would take the lines off to it and backflush it with a water hose, you will probably be suprised at what comes out.. incase you dont know what the actuator looks like, it will be a round like pancake looking canister with two vaccume line hoses going to it.. hope this helps you

Check to make sure that you dont have a vacuum line off. Your vehicle should shift out @ around 15-20 mph under a smooth slow acceleration.
