I found out what was wrong by calling local transmission places and they told me the transmission needs replacing or rebuilt. Thank You for your time.

Hi,

How do you adjust emergency brake on a 2001 gmc pickup

Generally all vehicles have self adjusters. They work only when you go in reverse. Try backing up and applying the brakes at quick stops for about 5 to 10 times. You should see a difference in braking when moving forward. If not the rear brakes are in need of replacement. Also if you never checked or filled your brake fluid in the master cylinder and its more than half down you will need brakes all around all wheels

I've been having a problem with my 2001 Ford Escort ZX2 - occasionally when I come to a full stop while driving - when I go, my car has trouble moving (it's almost as if the engine spins, but not sure)...

Be sure to check the fluid level and top-off if needed. If this continues, get an opinion from a different shop--you may have a plugged filter screen or a fluid pump needing replacement. Ignoring the problem will eventually lead to burned clutch discs and contaminated fluid.

95 Buick Lesabre 3.8 won't move after stopping

sounds like the torque converter has some broken fins. switching to a full synthetic tranny fluid would build tranny pressure faster. it would be costly, but an improvement if the car is not worth taking out the tranny to replace the converter. was the old fluid red or black? if red then this is the converter, if black then the tranny will need a rebuild or replacing.
