The ignition key should be the same for the doors. Have you tried that yet?

2011 Nissan Rogue driver's side door won't unlock from the outside with either the key or key fob, but the other doors do. I can climb in and unlock it. It is very cold right now, 1st time issue.

I would ascertain that the remote device to the locking mechanism has failed or the actuator, this is located behind the inner door lining, you can purchase these online & replace them yourself, if your mechanically minded, but just to be sure, open the door & make sure the lock itself in the door is lubricated enough to manoeuvre first, then try changing you fob battery (but I doubt this will help as if it was battery the others wouldn't work) but I would be 99.9% certain that the actuator needs replacing, but if not the remote device that reads the fob then unlocks the door wirelessly (receiver unit), hope this helps ????

Doors Wont Lock for Key Fob

Either the battery is dead in the FOB or the FOB is defective or the receiver for the FOB signal is defective.

Where would i be able to get a key for my door?

I go to a junk yard and purchase a set of locks and keys for all the doors and replace the cylinders with the new purchases. Now make copies of your new key. Some dealerships have records of your car or maybe you have a stamped piece of metal or documents with key code. The code once found in the dealership book gives the key codes so that they can punch another key up with a machine they have.

Rear door only opens with key

Remoce panel and check wiring. Car purchased used? Generally good indication that door has been replaced, so remove the panel and look to see if the wiring is hooked up, if it is then its most likely a motor replacememnt for the lock.

Remote key is not working

Hello... not sure were the receiver is but the problem is mostly the remote key lost its pairing to the receiver and the receiver itself is good. Check to make sure the batteries are good in the remote key and change them if need be. Then reprogram the key.

Good Luck....

My 2002 Honda Civic rear drives door lock does not operate when I use my remote lock key fob. I purchased and replaced the lock actuator and it is still not working? Any ideas... Since all the others...

There is only one receiver for the the key fob, so if any doors work, they are all supposed to work.
When one does not work, it is not because of the radio signal receiver, but because of the solenoid activator in the door itself.

According to the owner's manual, the vehicle came with a "key number tag." If you have the tag, or the number off the tag, you should be able to purchase a replacement key from a dealer or locksmith.

Before you go replacing the ignition (and the previous poster didn't mention it, but what about the door locks?) I would check your owner's manual. The original owner may have written the key code in the book!

Also, look around the car. Maybe the tag is stuck in the glovebox!

Do you have any of the papers you received when you bough tthe car (even if used)? Maybe the code is written on something?

Good luck!

if the car only has a factory system, then you only need to insert the key to unlock the door to turn the alarm off. There should be a red light on the door panel that blinks and that should show you it's off, not sure try turning the key on the door twice. If it's aftermarket, get a replacement unit.
