Ihave a stability control light which will not go off on my 2009 transit

By jerking the vehicle around... you can exceed the logic's ability to figure out which way to "AUGMENT" suspension & braking...
to keep your vehicle from following it's natural (top-heavy) tendency to ROLL-OVER.

Once those "logic" parameters has been EXCEEDED... the
STABILITY CONTROL simply SHUTS-DOWN and lights that light to alert the DRVER.

Consult your driver's guide (owners manual)... to familiarize yourself with your FINGER-TIP controls.

Push the RIGHT BUTTON and that light will go off...
UNTIL then... drive a lot slower... and more carefully...

Without your STABILITY (roll) CONTROL is it quite easy to put all your wheels WRONG SIDE UP.

Esp bas light is staying on on my chrysler 300 what is that and how do i fix

See a repair shop that does brakes. Be prepared to pay for a diagnostic fee to find problem.
That's an ABS light.

Service stability system 2001

No. It has nothing to do with stability. The most common cause is generally the steering wheel position sensor however I would recommend having the system scanned for fault codes

Stability system disabled light on no power

The stability system is software programmed into the ABS - antilock brake control module also the PCM - engine computer . service engine light DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop or the dealer . You don't have the diagnostic equipment or knowledge to tackle this type of problem .

What is the stability system of the car intended to do and why is it a problem if the warning light about the stability system is on?

The stability system of the vehicle is used to stabilize the vehicle in Turns. And say if you were driving and had to veer off the side becuase a car was stopped or somthing, as oppose to you loosing control it helps you maintain control of the vehicle.

The warning light is a problem with the stability system, could be a number of things. Thats somthing you dont wanna mess with on your own.

The service stability light is on

It pertains to just what it says STABILITY. Your vehicle has a system that will sense if you are coming around a curve at about 90 MPH. It will automatically apply a light amount of braking to the proper wheels, thus hopefully eliminating you and your Uplander from flying off curve. With the light on as with any warning light , you must assume whether its real or not, that the STABILITY system IS NOT operating. Significant computer / sensor diagnosis will be necessary. Hope this helps

Service stability system

one of the four load stability sensors (one at each wheel suspention arm) has gone awry. Computer diagnostics (Advanced scan tool) will tell you which one. Suggest replace both on front or both on rear (whichever the case)
