Fuel Pressure test port. Or, if it has a green cap, it is for EVAP System testing

What is the valve clearance of nissan caravan

Valve lash is the end of the rocker arm and the valve stem clearance between. When the engine is running, due to the thermal expansion and contraction, if there is no gap between the rocker arm and the valve stem, rocker arm swells, the top valve open, the impact of engine power and economy. Engine valve clearance will be different, usually when the car is cold, the intake valve 0.08-0.10MM, clearance exhaust valves 0.10-0.12MM Car Diagnostic Tool

I got a dodge Strauss 92 it blows cold air how do I flush the heater core I think that's the only thing it could be every thing else seems just fine thank you for any help zak

Locate the heater core of your vehicle by finding the two rubber hoses going into the firewall. Your heater core is inside the firewall, between the engine compartment and the cabin of the vehicle. Detach the two hoses from the heater core valve stems by loosening the spring clamps around the hoses with a screwdriver. Twist hoses back and forth carefully to remove from valve stems and move hoses out of the way.

Run water through one of the valve stems by turning on the garden hose and placing the end of the hose on the valve stem. Flush out the heater core this way until you see clear water coming from the other valve stem. Turn garden hose off.

Replace the two rubber hoses from the engine and secure to valve stems by tightening screw clamps with screwdriver. Be careful not to over-tighten.

Turn car engine on and turn on heater fan to test and verify that heater is working.

Mercury mystique throws out a huge amount of smoke and the engine idles what can it be ?

Smoke from an idling engine that shows when the engine is reved up indicates worn valve stem seals and worn valve guides. If the engine has some age on it then the stem seals are probably hard and cracked allowing the oil to be drawn into the combustion chamber past the valve stem. A skilled mechanic with the right equipment can replace the seals without removing the head so ask around for some one who does it on a regular basis.

Dropped nut in the engine compartment of 2004 endeavor, safe to drive

I would remove the intake plenum again and check with a flashight and a telescopic magnet in each of the intake runners. You should be able to see the valve stem down the intake runner. It may be necessary to remove the lower intake manifold to remove loose bolt.

2007 Yukon xl denali burning oil

If you smell burning oil, you may have a leak in the engine compartment reaching the exhaust manifold and burning on contact. The most common cause for that is leaking valve cover gaskets. If you are losing oil with NO signs of external leaks, the engine may be burning it internally. Valve stem oil seals, worn piston rings, blown/leaking head gasket are a few causes of that.

How to turn of tire lite that looks like an

Check your tire pressure, and adjust as necessary first.

Next, have you changed anything having to do with the rims/tires/valve stems? The valve stems mounted in your factory rims have a tire pressure monitoring sensor/transmitter mounted on the inside. The valve stem itself is the antenna for the transmitter. If you have had the valve stems, valve cores, or even the valve caps replaced, that can cause a fault in the system.

Also if you used a canned flat repair like 'Fix-A-Flat', that could be clogging the sensor. I don't recommend using fix-a-flat on tires with TPMS, but if you're in a jam, sometimes you have to.

If you had the tires changed, the shop has to be careful when mounting and dismounting the tires. The sensors are easy to damage with tire tools.

In order to reset the TPMS, there is a small button either in the glove compartment, or under the steering wheel. Turn the ignition to the 'on' position without starting the engine. Press and hold the button for approximately three seconds. The light will begin flashing. Release the button and wait at least 7 seconds for the system to relearn the sensors. Then turn the key to the 'off' position. Start the engine, and check that the light turns off after about a second.

If the light still stays on, you need to have the TPMS serviced by a qualified mechanic. This should be either a Toyota dealer, or a shop that uses the appropriate TPMS testing equipment.

Good luck, I hope this helped!

AC is not blowing cold air. How do I add freon?

What you will be looking for (in your engine compartment) looks almost like a large valve stem that you would see on a tire. It will probably have some kind of plastic cap on it.

It shouldn't be that difficult to find. You may want to search for an engine compartment diagram for your make/model/year vehicle.

Heating on 92"j" accord blowing cold

The temperature control knob does control a cable, the valve is in a heater hose low on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine compartment. Check to make sure the cable is still over the pin on the valve and make sure the cable jacket is still clamped to the valve bracket. Also, pull the knob off the stem and make sure it isn't cracked such that it won't turn the metal stem sticking out of the dash. If all that is OK, check the cable by turning the knob all the way to cold, note the location of the lever on the valve, then turn the knob all the way to hot and see if the lever moved. Sorry, not sure how involved it is to change the cable.
