The pop you referred to was mostly likely a radiator hose rupturing.

The steam would be indicative of a sudden, massive loss of coolant.

Do Not drive until problem is remedied.

Could also have been a radiator tank letting go, but I'd put my money on a hose.

Hoses are a LOT LESS COSTLY, and generally easier to replace.

Good luck!

When I drive at 30 miles or higher my tires start to vibrate in my 05 Pacifica

could be a few things.....you either need whats called a "high speed balance" any tire place can do it for a few dollars, OR one of the belts has "slipped" in one or more of your tires. Is it coming from the front or rear? if its the front, you will usually "feel it" in the steering wheel......if its the rear you will just feel it while driving

Location of pcm on 2005 pacifica?

I have a 2004 Pacifica and mine is on the drivers side front, underneath between the bumper and the wheel splash guard. You will need to remove the splash guard ti access the PCM. Not very hard at all. Replacement time for a handy DIYer: about 1/2 hour. Good luck!!

Popping sound from Chrysler Pacifica

it is called a clockspring.
the other thing to check is that the rear part of the steering wheel is clearing the column shroud properly.
call a few places in your area and how much it is to change the clockspring.
