It is VERY unlikely that a seven year old car would need that much done to it, unless it had 200,000 or more miles on it. New oil should be the color of honey, not dark brown. That's the easy check.

How do i top up my auto transmission on audi a6 2006

The German manufacturers came up with a great new idea that many others have now copied and that is to eliminate the under bonnet filler tube and dip stick. Some of the German manufacturers have decided to eliminate engine oil dip sticks as well. These people are just so innovative.

Thus you have to use the correct filling procedure as laid down by the manufacturer which involves filling the auto transmission from under the vehicle by removing the filler plug on the side of the auto unit and pumping in the fluid. It used to be so much easier.
Obviously this is best done on a lift/hoist and the vehicle must be level.

1999 audi a6 2.8 . The transmission doesnt shift . Its like it's in neutral all shifter is positions. Grinding when in park.Is this a fixable problem or do I need a new transmission?

before considering a transmission there are some simple and cheap things to do first
run the fault codes to find faulty servo/ solenoids
pressure test the transmission to find internal faults
change oil and clean the filter adjust bands and clutch packs while the pan is off
check replace park pawl
if you do some or all of these suggestions then you will get a good idea of the condition of the transmission so as to make an informed decision
remember the more quotes you get the better and only deal with an accredited transmission shop that offers a long warranty for the replacement box or work done.

I have white smoke coming out from the exhaust of my audi a6 2003 and the coolant tank is empty

Unfortunately you probably have a blown headgasket. You should not drive the car like this as it will further damage the engine. The parts and labor for this job are not cheap. You may want to phone around and get some quotes. I would ask for prices on the headgasket, themostat, timing belt and waterpump. All these things should be done as part of the job.

Hope this helps,
Dave

2002 audi a6 transmission is in safe mode. What

hi, what it usually mean is that you have shifted down in to a lower gear whilst the revs where to high so then your gearbox goes into safe mode to protect it from further damage the only way to reset this is to take the car to a main dealers and have a diagnostic check done.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Coil misfiring

Well, it should be good practice to clean the connectors on the coil first with an electrical connections cleaner spray bottle and then reset the malfunction code. This will erase the code on the ECU. If the coil is malfunctioning the light will go on again.
