Hello Ldfraser.

Limited information available for this vehicle.
I just looked it up in the manual and the description given was "Left side of air filter intake".
It will be a two wire sensor.
I hope this helps you locate it.

OK. Give me a few minutes to check it out.
    Thank you

I went to a complete ECU diagram for your MB, but it does not show a specific Intake air temp sensor. only an airflow sensor.
So why did they list the location of the sensor on the air cleaner I wondered.
So is the temperature incorporated with the airflow sensor? Not sure.
Perhaps installing an Ohmmeter on the pins to see if the resistance changes when it is heated (a hair dryer comes to mind)

This image is too small to see here. The only alternative is for me to E-mail it to you.
Have you one I could forward it to?

I have a 2008 Pontiac G5 I was wanting to install a performance chip to it. It says to connect it to the IAT senor which has 5wires witch wires are for the IAT

The other three wires are for the Mass air flow sensor . That's a new one for me , performance chips or turners are used through the DLC . You program the engine computer . I have no idea what they can do from the intake air temp. sensor .The tan an lit blue wires are for the IAT sensor !

What 2 wires are the IAT wires for 2006 kia spectra? just need to connect a performance ECU chip and don't know which 2 wires are the IAT wires.

I assume this is a chip from eBay. I suggest not going that route. All those "chips" are, are resistors that trick the car into thinking the air temperature is a certain degree, which can improve performance. However, it can affect other aspects of the car and it could cause long term damage. Also, modifying car wiring on a critical part like the IAT could cost lots if it is damaged.

I need to locate IAT sensor four my 2009 ford

The IAT is integrated with the MAF sensor on the 09 Fusion. The MAF is located near the air box on all three engines. on the driver's side, and will be held to some part of the intake tubing by 2 torx screws. http://media.photobucket.com/image/2009%20Fusion%20MAF/itsamecameron/fusion4cylengineMAF.jpg 2.3L shown, 3.0 and 3.5 should be similar.

Locating the iat sensor on a 2003 dodge 5.9

The IAT sensor is along the intake tube before the throttle body. If your planing to buy the performance chip from EBAY or any other place, save your money. You can go to Radio shack and it will cost you less then $3.00 for the resistor needed to make your own "performance Chip" IF you like you can use and 10K ohm potentiometer wire it through to the IAT sensor wire harness so you can adjust your timing for the type of fuel you want to use or how much performance you want out of your engine. Here is a link to the installation of the resistors and the different resistor's you can use or like me use a Potentiometer. Note if the timing is to high on hot days, the knock sensor may trigger and the engine will power down 15% till next start up. Good luck and hope this helps. http://kingenterprises.net/IAT-Timing-Tricker.htm

Installing chip and want to double check wiring. Need to find IAT/MAF sensor diagram for 2003 Ford Ranger

Save your money, the chip is a ohm resistor at Radio Shack for under $2.00. It splices in to you IAT wire harness located at the intake tube between the air filter housing and throttle body.
Problem with this system is, that you can not adjust anything and have to run a constant 91 octane just to make sure you do not have a Detonation. The ECM will catch the Detonation from the knock sensor and compensate for it by retarding the timing which in turn lose of HP till next start up.
If you like and don't mind the check engine light on once and awhile, you can do the same by just disconnecting the IAT wire harness which give the ECM a 0 resistance thinking it's -20 out side and turn the timing up and lengths the injector pules.
When i was running a Nitro in the Toy before i sold it, i had installed a 10K ohm Potentiometer which you can buy at radio shack for under $5.00 i believe, I just spliced it in to the IAC wire harness so if i wanted to play with the Nitro I'ld turn the resistor up making the engine think it's 185 degrees F and would ****** the timing so i would not hurt the engine. But if i wanted to get more timing i would just turn the knob to drop the resistance to get more time since the engine thinks it's -20 out side.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted if you need more info. Best thing is to do a dyno tune and you can change everything right down to the Shift points.

IAT sensor wires

Those chips are not chips just a 5 cent resistor to alter the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) signal to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module), the idea is that the engine control computer thinks it is getting colder air than it really is and slightly increases spark advance, u will feel no difference in power but u may gain 1 MPG in fuel economy, so u decide. One last note they are illegal in most states that do emission tests, it alters the factory controls.
