SOURCE: Unlock Code For Honda Accord 98

you need to call the dealer to get the code. you might have to unhook the neg battery cable to reset the radio again if the code doesnt work. also somtimes the code is printed on a small white sticker somewhere in the car. around the glovebox or in a door jamb or in the trunk under the ash tray. just need to look all over.

SOURCE: Transaxle code came up on engine code

P1739 transaxle code, It's a "Problem in 3rd Clutch Pressure Switch Circuit" or sometimes know as Pressure Control Solenoid "C.
That code is for a 3rd clutch failure. It's an internal problem and there isn't a thing you can do to fix it without pulling the transmission. It's a vesy common code when the transmission starts to go.
Sorry for the bad news and good luck

98 HONDA ACCORD, FILTER, CRANK POSITION SENSOR P0335, P0730 INCORRECT GEAR RATIO,

All these problems require and expert to repair, the transmission has failed is the biggest issue and will most likely need to be replaced or rebuilt.. The fuel tank issue will not stop the car from driving, deal with that later, it could be just a defective gas cap..

P1739 and p1738 on a v6 accord

Quick google search of those codes shows 1738 to be trans second clutch pressure switch issue, while 1739 is 3rd clutch pressure circuit issue. How long has it been since you changed trans fluid and filter? Might start there, but if many miles on car trans could be toast.

1998 Honda. Accord has problem shifting all the way into reverse after it had been supposley repaced if I take th seloind out and then put them back in it will go into reverse but when I shut the car off...

did you read the FSM sections?
chapter, on car A/T service, if not why not.?
the solenoid only does with the controller tells it to do.
and the solenoid only gates (valve) hydraulic paths, to the reverse circuits, so that means it can be 3 things.
1: bad command from TCM
2: bad solenoid
3:bad tranny.
if you have a good solenoid and TCM is sending 12v to it
then the tranny is bad. Got a voltmeter? test the voltage to the SOL.

Hey there, Ive got a 4 banger 98 accord with a

this is a TCM (tranny brain) operated, A/T
so scan it, in this old car , it either scans with the PCM or
has its own blink codes, the TCM.
D4 means, TCM is Unhappy, please scan me for lastest news !
the engine too, is bad. but id fix that first because the tranny brain
uses,. 4 engine sensors to run'
so scan the PCM (engine brain) first. fix that first.

alldata.com has all this.. every word every step.
why not read that.?
connect scan tool $9 tools work, and scan the PCM. (ask)
get all DTCs (errorrs) and most them,, here ill also lookup
how to scan your old TCM now.
here is lots for free books on this car.
http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Accord/

the PCM when scanned will report 10 unique DTC errors
for the transmission.
and VSS, ECT, TPS, and CKP sensors must be good or
the tranny will fault.

Honda accord 2001 code PO700

P0700 HONDA Description The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transmission control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transmission control.

Code P1739

It's a "Problem in 3rd Clutch Pressure Switch Circuit".

Don't know your mileage, but Honda has increased the warranty on certain automatic transmissions to 7 years or 100K miles. Yours may fall under that.
Time for a trip to the dealer, Honda will even do the
warranty fixes if you're above the required mileage (on a case-by-case
basis)...hope this helps. if so, please leave a positive feedback for me....many thanx

2000 Accord LX, 4 Cyl. check engine light and error codes P1457, P1739

A very common late 90's code, P1457 is a failure in one of the evap system solenoid valves. There are 2 culprits, the Vent Control Valve & the 2 Way Bypass Valve. So, start working with those and see if you can get the 1457 code off of it.

I also looked around about the 1739 code as well which a transaxle error. However, I've found that there has been more than enough reported cases of problems of the such. Take a look at this link, and do a little reading.

http://www.hondacarforum.com/honda-2/13499-trouble-code-p1739.html

I hope this helps you out.
