Maybe the Sprayers are clogged up. You can clean out the sprayers with a needle, some have two holes so look carefully.

first and foremost, check that all your fuses are good. If they are, your next step would be to pull the winshield washer motor out and test it by applying 12 volts from the battery directly to the motor to see if it turns on. if it works then your problem is in the wiring, check that you are getting power to the harness when you turn it on. Now, if the motor does not work while applying battery power, then you need a new washer motor.

Windshield wipers will not shut off

Hello, my name is Ben. This is a very common problem for GM. You have a wiper motor control module and it is most likely defective. The module is bolted directly onto the wiper motor which is mounted to the firewall under that long plastic cowl just in front of the bottom edge of your windshield.

Normally when you flip the switch up the wipers come on and when you flip it down it sprays the fluid, for some reason when you flip the switch up now it sprays fluid, no matter how I flip the switch all I...

It could be either the motor or the switch. But dont forget to check your fuses first. If fuses are OK, check for power going to the wiper motor when the switch is engaged. If there is power and ground at the motor, than the motor is no good.

The front wipers on my Saturn Vue do not spray any wiper fluid. The rear sprays like normal and when I pull the lever for the fronts there is no motor noise from a pump or anything.

if your vue is a newer model it is common for the washer hose to get pinched by the cowl when the hood is shut. This in turn can puncture the hose, which is easily replaceable. if that is not the problem you may have a bad washer pump.

there are two motors ,one runs the front and the other runs the rear. check the connection at the front washer pump sometimes it gets dirty and doesnt make a good connection, if the connection is good and clean then replace the washer pump, here a picture of it. hope this helps

Windshield wiper sprayers

You seem to have the motor not working or there is not any power going to the washer pump motor. Check the fuse in the box first.

2 ways this could work. 1 is by pushing the wiper switch towards the dash.

2nd is when you pull the lever towards you, it will turn the intermittant wipe on, pull it towards you again to cancel.

Windshield wipers wont work when i engage the sprayers

Try blowing the switch out with compressed air moving it from every position. If this fails, replace the switch. Frankster016
