SOURCE: my 1993 300e radio just

If the radio is not happy with the code you are entering there is a possiblity it has locked you out - Leaving the ignition on with WAIT on the screen (1 minute for 1st incorrect enter, 2min for 2nd, 4min for 3rd, 8min for 4th etc) until such time that the radio displays CODE or until leaving the ignition on doesn't remove WAIT from the screen. (possible new radio required at that point)

SOURCE: Resetting Radio with WAIT on an 01' Ml 320

you must remove the power going to the radio for 5 mins, you can do this by removing the fuse in the fuse panel for 5 mins, put fuse back in, then enter code - if that doesn't work then you have to remove the negative battery cable for 5 mins, then reconnect neg cable back to battery, then enter code - the key to it is removing power to the radio - the last resort is to remove radio from the dash and unpluging the elec connector from back of radio for 5 mins - the factory "code" should be on a sticker stuck to the radio, you should be able to find it when you remove the radio from the dash.

SOURCE: After changing my ML350 battery the SRS light is

you can try disconnecting the battery again and see if the light goes away but usually when a srs light comes on the only way to clear it is with the 'sds' which the dealer has and sometimes the independent shops might have one too. Mercedes doesn't allow you to reset it from the vehicle due to it being safety related. when the srs light is on all your airbags and seatbelt etr's are disabled. if your vehicle has pre-safe then you will have to just drive it around til it relearns the steering angle sensor again. if that's the case it will say see owners manual in the display of the instrument cluster when showing the fault.

I changed the battery and my radio reseted when i wrote the code the radio kept saying wait who can i fix this.....

your radio is in safe or anti theft mode. Radio security codes are normally wrote down down in your owners manual when vehicle was purchased new, otherwise you will need to contact the dealer with your vin to get your specific code to unlock it. hope this helps and happy holidays

Changed the battery in jeep and nom the rds radio says wait 2 hours and i can not punch in the security code to make the radio start working again. It is in a 1996 Grand Cherokee right hand drive.

hi
you will have to leave the radio on until it unlocks itself and resets, it could take 3mins or 3hrs, once this has happened you should be able to code the radio.
hope this helps

2006 honda accord, after changing the battery. resetting the radio code. the radio will not pick up any stations???

Unless the Accord was jump started, creating possible power surge to damage radio, it should not of had any relationship to the radio.

But, just in case, would suggest disconnecting battery for 5 minutes, reconnecting battery, reentering radio code and see what happens.

If that fails, hopefully your under 36k miles or got the Factory extended warranty "Honda Care" Service plan, so take to the Honda Dealership to see what they say.
